by Michelle Starcher

Hi there! I am Michelle Starcher, a PhD student at the University of North Texas. My research interests include personalized instruction, online teaching and learning, professional development, self-regulated learning, and school transformation.

I have served in K-12 education for over twenty-years with experience as an elementary teacher, curriculum writer, librarian, and technology coach. For the last three years, I have worked as a technology learning coach in Fort Worth ISD. Over the last two years, I have led the e-learning team in the development, implementation, and evaluation of professional development eCourses for over 5,000 teachers and administrators.  Currently, I am an eGROWE coach with engage2Learn. With e2L, I work with teachers, coaches, and school administrators to support the implementation of research-based best practices for personalized, blended instruction.

This portfolio is a collection of scholarly writings, presentations, and creative works that demonstrate my philosophy of teaching and learning with educational technology.
